Weitlaner Baby Retractor 11.5cm

Weitlaner is a self-retaining retractor commonly used in herniotomy, femoropopliteal bypass, plastic surgery, bone and joint procedures, and mastoid surgery. It is also useful with small, deep incisions and soft tissue dissection at a superficial level.

It holds shallow incisions in orthopedic surgery, in neurosurgical procedures like craniotomy it holds the skin of the scalp. It is also used in cardiac surgery like implantation of a pericardial pacemaker.

Scissors-like working with ratchet lock used for hold back tissue and expose surgical site. Curved shanks and interlocking prongs curved outward. Available in Sharp or Blunt profile. It has a unidirectional locking mechanism through which it is locked in position.
